Black Beauty Compost
Our version of Dillo Dirt.™ Our Black Beauty compost is very dark in color, rich in organic matter and nutrients, and is perfect for any application where additional nourishment is needed. We especially recommend its use for adding nutrients back into depleted plant beds, lawns, and amending existing soils.
Mean Green Screened Compost
Made by fruits and vegetables FOR your fruits and vegetables! This compost is also super rich in organic matter and nutrients and is great in any application where additional nourishment is needed. We especially recommend its use in food grade settings, i.e. vegetable gardens and nut and/or fruit bearing plants, but it can also be used for plant beds and topdressing lawns.
Our Caballero compost is made from composted horse manure and is an excellent soil amendment to add acidity to neutral or alkaline soils. Great for growing acidic soil loving plants like blueberries, roses, azaleas, hydrangeas, magnolias, and more.
Our signature mother of all mixes combines the super high organic profile of compost and topsoil. This custom blend is MEGA loaded with minerals and nutrients allowing you to nourish, replenish, and fortify your plants all at the same time.
Texas Turf Mix
Excellent for turf, sod, native grass, and/or native plant installs. This mix is comprised of compost and screened sandy landscape loam. It is high in nutrients and, due to its sandy composition, it provides superior drainage.
Lonestar Landscape Mix
Daisy Works’ own landscape planter’s mix. Excellent for any installation, this mix is comprised of screened landscape loam and compost (similar to our Texas Turf Mix) – but with one-and-a half times more compost for extra nourishment for flowering plants.
Daisy Works’ Texas Topsoil is screened down to 1” or less, making a very fine soil, free of rocks, roots, and other debris. Our Texas Topsoil has a medium range of organic matter and can be used in direct planting for any garden, lawn, or flowerbed.
Reddish brown landscape loam screened down to 1” or less, making a very fine sandy soil, free of rocks, roots, and other debris. Balanced neutral pH soil with little to no organic content, good for filling low spots or for use on baseball infields - NOT suggested for growing stuff.
